Our Philosophy

Imagine being coached to reach your goals. Goals that you deserve to reach. I get it. I have been overweight, I have been out of shape, I have had to get in shape to play sports…The simple truth is that there are no excuses, for me or for you not to get to work. As a wrestling and football coach for over 15 years combined I have always believed in "Better"; that everyone I coach can grow and develop to attain the goals we set. I will coach you to "believe in better". This is real-time. Don't waste it.

If you remember only one thing, "do the same things you have always done, you will end up in the same place". You deserve BETTER! I will coach you with uncompromising integrity to support you in reaching all of your health and fitness goals. You decide. Think about it more or take action NOW to make a change. Parts of a Workout

  1. A Comprehensive evaluation - We will assess your physical limitations, any injuries ( past and present), goals, deadlines, sports you play, etc. This will allow for the creation of the most precise and effective training program specifically for you.
  2. Active/Dynamic warm-up - We need to make sure that ALL of your muscles are “awake”! In order to do that, we need to teach you movement patterns that you will actually use in day to day life and/or sports. These movements will challenge your flexibility while increasing blood flow to the muscles and exciting the nervous system!
  3. Body of the workout – This totally depends on your goals. We may use Olympic lifts, Metabolic training, circuit training, strength training, etc. We WILL use a variety of equipment including, but not limited to: TRX systems, Kettlebells, Bosu/Stability/Medicine balls, Sport cords, sand bags, dumbells and barbells.
  4. Core training – Although most all of the exercises you will do, will require your core to be activated, we will still do exercises specifically for the core. To produce power for sport, to spare your lower back and to just plain look good, we need a strong core. We WILL train your core.
  5. Cool down – At the very end we will do “static stretches”. They help calm down the nervous system, as well as help you recover after a great workout. These stretches gently flush the muscles with blood which helps in two main ways; brings nutrients to the muscles to help them recover faster and through increased blood flow, helps remove waste products produced by exercise.
